On the 23rd of August, I managed to attend a Dancathon Competition organized by Intimacy Worship Team at Milele Beach Hotel.

Arriving there by 3pm, the dance floor was already packed with DJ Mike & DJ O'Neal of Echo Christ DJ's getting the juice up to the brim.

Several dance crews were in the hotel including:

  1. DABZ
  2. Nyali Baptist Church Teens
  3. Smooth Criminals
  4. NENO Melodies
  5. NANA (2009 Nzumari Award Dance Group Of The Year)
  6. CREED
  7. Creepers
Though they show cased their talents the dancathon competition was an individual affair. With a 10GB iPod in order for the winner, the dancathon was to see alot of competition.

In attendance were several gospel artists including:

  • Bantu
  • Kimsa
  • Salvage
  • Krystin Ndela
  • Becky
  • Kisaka (1-2-1 Tazama)
When the dancathon kicked off, the music played for 30 minutes with the competition starting off with 20 guyz on the dancefloor and soon it went down to 2 (Shiro & Jose). Well, the crowd decided and the winner of the 10GB iPod went to...................JOSE!!!! (Pictured)

All In All, Kudos To Intimacy for a job well done, and trust me I cant wait for the next one.....I just might be having my own dance team.....anyone interested.....HOLLA!

On Saturday, the 22nd of August, I hit out into the estates, looking out for young kids to find out if they really have taken in the campaign to their heart.

Our search turned out fruitfull and we met more than 60 kids ( thats me, the driver and camera woman).

As the official Nimechill Ambassador, i asked them a few questions in relation to drugs, education and relationships which turned out quite exciting! I couldn't leave them empty hand and decided to give them t-shirts.

I was positioned in Majengo Mapya right across the ferry, right next to Likoni Mixed High School.

The parents, especially the mothers were so excited with the initiative and though they are not qualified to 'chill', i decided to give them t-shirts too!

The next target is on the 29th of August when I will be in Mikindani! Lets see what the kids there have to offer.

Here are some of the pics of how it went!

I think I am still living with the shock of this day. This is the real story.

My girlfriend decided that she had had enough of me surprising her every year and thought I needed a taste of my own medicine and told me a month before that she was doing me a bash. (Heh! I was in for a real surprise!)

Now I knew with my little investigation that the bash would be on Sunday the 27th July at my pals place - Samora. What I dint know is she had actually changed the venue, time & date!

So here is DJ Lenium finishing his radio show on Saturday night knowing am going out with the boys......Shock! The Sonko Inc Krew (Dan Sonko, Ting Mwangi, Senteyo, Fulexy, Edu, Verah & Mwangi) decided to have a convoy of cars (6 Cars) trailing each other as they picked me from tao and here I was thinking I was going to Mtwapa to check out Trybe DJ's in action.

So first of all we passed through Injerra Restaurant where we got several guyz partying there, then 20 minutes later we got into the rides and off we were.

Here I am thinking this is the life, then we take a detour at Pavillion Garden Grill! When we walk out of the car, we get the whole crew at the venue. Gosh!

First of all I got washed before they sprayed me with wall can sprays all over!

Thanx to everyone who showed up especially my classmate CODE RED DJ Kaytrixx & my beloved girlfriend DJ Squishy!
