DEBTS MAY LEAD CHAMELOEN STRAIGHT TO JAIL.
Ugandan artist Jose Chameleone, may be in trouble yet again. Just weeks after a mob ganged up against the doctor, as he is normally known, for what they termed as un paid debts with a market in Malaba, the singer had trouble in Kampala after he failed to a clear a Shs 700,000 bill which forced the authorities to impound his tour bus.
The 700,000 bill includes venue hire for the concert, food for the Leone Island Crew and accommodation for

The fans who attended the show were left disapointed after the star sampled some of his hits for 10 minutes before driving off.

MUNISHI GOT BEEF WITH TUSKER PROJECT FAME!
Veteran Gospel and controversial Tanzanian artist, Faustin Munishi is shocked to hear that Alpha walked away with the 5 million jackpot.
“I was shocked to read the papers that Alpha had grabbed the 5 million and went back with the jackpot to Rwanda. Then they had the nerve to write ‘Guess Who Got The Fame In Tusker Project Fame?’,” he said quite furious.
Munishi, who spoke to Word Is via phone, says what he read made it sound like it was tribalistic. He believes if the media was to choose the winner it definitely wouldn’t have been Alpha.
“I thank God it was a search for talent which at the end of the day don’t forget it’s a talent given by God.”
Munishi says towards the end the competition took a weird turn and it was quite obvious who the company wanted as a winner.
He now believes to clear away the hatred and tribalism that surrounded this competition, Alpha should sing gospel and shame the Devil.
“Money shouldn’t make you grow older, relax! Don’t be like a friend of mine whom I wont mention, who got cash and asked himself what he hasn’t been able to buy he will have to buy. The guy bought soda, bottled water and 2 packets of milk. After drinking them all together, his stomach made noise like an ocean, “he said as he laughed.
Munishi who every year gets in trouble with the law concerning his controversies in his music is back again with a new hit this time at Tusker Project Fame.

ARE BLU 3 FREE INDEED?
BLU3’S last album, Burn, was widely acclaimed. Then the unexpected happened — the departure of founding member Cinderella Sanyu a.k.a Cindy, which almost led to the demise of the group.
However, a few months later, a new member, Mya, was recruited. The group will be launching their first album, Be Free, since Cindy’s departure. But the burning question is: has Blu3 consolidated their position as Uganda’s most exciting, original and invigorating girl group?
Be Free is a glorious piece of work. Unlike the group’s previous songs that were produced exclusively by Steve Jean, this one features several producers including Benon of Swangz Avenue, Sweden-based Charlie King, Good Enuff’s Aydee, Moz B and R Kay from Kenya and Fenon Records’ Steve Jean.
The album’s lead track, Together, has great harmonies, good song-writing skills and beautiful melodies. The album launch will feature Akon’s official DJ, Benny D.
Other artistes set to perform include Nameless, Goodlyfe Crew, GNL and Navio as well as the winner of the 2008 Pilsner Spin Master Campaign in Uganda, DJ Ricky.
