King of Genge Hubert Nakitare aka Nonini yesterday visited the cancer ward at the Kenyatta National Hospital as his way to give back to the community after all he has been doing!
" It was a very ausome and inspirational day with the kids just to mingle with them,sing for them and make them smile atleast wasahau there condition kidogo," Nonini told Mambo Badd. "We did shopping for them, got some basic needs stuff za day to day na pia toys na colouring books za ku wa keep busy."
According to Nonini he believes the children are very talented although undergoing chemotherapy.
"Some can sing very well,others can colour and draw but the most inspirational thing that happened there was a kid whose leg had been amputeted and didnt want to be carried by anyone was standing by himself wow!" Nonini told us.
Nonini was joined by other artists, who during the Safaricom Face Off Live Season 2 which went down at KICC on the 21st of August, considered them as his family. They include Lady B, Frasha, Bon-Eye, Roza(Nonini's manager) and 2 of his Facebook Friends: Pauline and Mercy!
The activity was made possible for them by Dr. David at Kenyatta National Hospital.
