Mombasa based artist George Owino aka Kingsting is currently riding high in the Coast showbiz industry with his new events Organzing Company that has been bubbling under and now has rose to the limelight.

Talking to The Star, he revealed that Tamasha Entertainers began in 2006 though dint do very well. It went under for close to 2 years before resurfacing in late 2008 hosting a few charity events and a Nameless Album Launch in Mombasa.

Recently Tamasha Entertainers organized Channel O nominee Cannibal’s campaign trail through posters and fliers, Mr And Miss Aviation Night which saw Jua Cali sum the event in style and also the much anticipated Coast Night.

The company which was originally owned by 2 people saw Ramadhan Mti fall out and it was left to Kingsting to handle the business.

“I have done my best to think out of the box and I believe we need to help each other. Like take for instance Cannibal, this will give Coast a chance for outside recognition and international focus on Mombasa,” he told The Star.

His biggest setbacks have been the financial challenge, the war with The Music Copyright Society and harassment from the Municipal Council.

He has managed to be Kingsting the artist, Kingsting the event organizer and Kingsting the family man. “Handling all that is not easy but don’t you think Jay Z would have had a problem with his basket ball team or his recording studio or his wife? Everything is all about timing.”

Kingsting has a new video for his song Sherehe which was recorded at Ulopa Studio’s shot by Ogopa Videos at the luxurious Wild Waters in Mombasa. With a solo album on his way, the sky is the limit for this master of jobs!
