MADTRAXX GETS DOWN WITH SUPER DEAL!

Kenyan based multi-talented producer, DJ and Emcee Madtraxx has signed to Rockstar 4000 Music Entertainment - the African continent’s first Pan African 360 Music & Entertainment Company and Record Label.

The deal with Rockstar 4000 begins this month and will see multi-talented producer, DJ and Emcee Madtraxx in an historic, exclusive worldwide digital distribution deal, having his music made available commercially to a global audience of millions.

Rockstar 4000 Music Entertainment, through its exclusive Pan African partnership with Sony Music Entertainment Africa, will distribute Madtraxx’s music and video catalogue to hundreds of digital storefronts worldwide, including major digital music services like iTunes®, Amazon MP3, Napster, eMusic, Rhapsody, Beatport, YouTube, Vevo, Zune, MySpace Music, Spotify, SKY, Juno Download, Boomkat, and Turntable Lab and mobile carriers and outlets such as Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT& T, T-Mobile and Nokia (to name a few) via Sony’s partnership with the San Francisco-based digital distributor IODA.

"It's not a surprise that this was the natural progression of my career" says Madtraxx "It's all about progression, watch this space!” The only promises Madtraxx can make, is good music for his fans, "The rest, even I can't tell" he says when asked what to expect from him in future.

“Madtraxx is not just an overall great entertainer but producer and has emerged from strength to strength over the last few years, from his roots as key member of the hugely popular and successful Code RED outfit and now taking over the airwaves as Madtraxx. The future with this truly multi-talented Rockstar is sure to be rockin” says the CEO  & Founder of Rockstar 4000, Jandre Louw.

Madtraxx burst into the Kenyan Music scene as an artiste in 2007, taking the airwaves by storm with his first single, "BODA BODA", referring to the most common mode of commercial transport in East Africa, the Bicycle. The song was comic relief at a fragile moment in Kenya's history.

However, the highly talented Producer, Deejay, Emcee began his musical journey long before his first single dropped, making himself popular at first as a Club/Radio deejay, with Kenyan deejay unit CodeRED, playing at the hottest spots in Nairobi and hosting a controversial Radio show. Always looking for a challenge, Madtraxx took a step back from deejaying at the end of 2006, and began a whole new chapter in his career beginning 2007.

Spreading his wings into production and emceeing, his entry into music had critics questioning his longevity in the industry, as he entered when the scene experienced a wave of "One hit wonders". However, Madtraxx’s Debut album "Super Producer, Super Deejay, Super Emcee" is seen as a breath of fresh air and has proved all critics wrong with 5 chart topping hits, all bringing in something fresh for Africans to dance to.
