Information reaching the Mambo Badd desk is that Leone Island Ugandan artist Jose Chameleone could be having a kid with Nalia Salim, the lady who is featured in the Vumilia video......and its a bouncing baby girl.
The two have really been very close ever since this video was shot. Lots of rumours there after circulated around the celeb wire, to the effect that the singer could actually be responsible for her bulging situation. This and more other details about the paternity of her kid led Naila to go into hibernation.
However, just recently, our eagle eyed snoops smoked her out at Rubaga Hospital, where she gave birth in the general ward. Our snoops who happened to chance upon Naila during her labour pains and after giving birth, were awed to realize that her baby greatly resembles Chameleone.

LONDON BASED RAPPER SHAD IS STILL THE PEOPLE'S MC.
Kenyan-born, London, Ontario-raised rapper Shad’s (aka Shadrach Kabango) approach to making music involves business too—just don’t expect to hear about grills or guns in his verses.
“It’s not what interests me, really,” he told Mambo Badd. “When I really started to get interested in making music it was for the fun of it. Discovering stuff about myself as I was writing and doing something I thought was unique and special and worthwhile and engaging.”
2010’s highly anticipated once again combines intelligent and conscientious lyrics with well developed beats and witty wordplay demonstrating what Shad does best, providing relevant, honest to goodness old school hip hop (not to mention gaining him another Polaris nomination).
His application of business theory to the music industry explains a lot about the stereotype-defying rapper. Of the two ways to compete; to be better than everyone else or to be different, Shad said he has always chosen the latter.
“I try to let [my personality] creep in as much as possible because I think that’s what makes it interesting,” he said. “I think less about if this is the best song I’ve ever made and if this is a song only I would make.”
His down-to-earth nature and earnest genuine personality have come to be his defining features over the years. Speaking to him over the phone pre-empting his visit to Kingston for the Wolfe Island Music Festival, I can see why.
His lack of interest in the gimmicky side of the hip hop game has lead to him being labelled as a poster-boy in Canadian music. Time and time again he’s been all too quickly positioned as rap’s wholesome “boy next door”. But deducing Shad to an archetypal small-town-boy Canadiana story subscribes him to a tired cultural stereotype he hardly engages in.
In the stadium sized, “99 Problems”-esque “Yaa I Get It” he acknowledges the conundrum and spits, “I hate the catch phrase ‘Canadian Rap Sensation’”, after amalgamating golden age hip-hop with underground self-consciousness and frustration with his surroundings by opening, “Maybe I’m not big ‘cause I don’t blog or Twitter/ Dog, I’m bitter.”
The steady interest from fans might have something to do with the evident respect Shad holds for them.
“It’s ok to challenge your audience and think, ‘how can I keep this conversation interesting?’” he said. “I think people actually like to be challenged, it keeps them engaged but you can’t take it too far.”
Along with his home base DJ T-Lo, Shad brought in a competent production and collaboration crew with Broken Social Scene’s Brendan Canning and Lisa Lobsinger along with compadres Classified and Relic.
His earnestness is embodied in his humble and frequent answer, “That’s just me being myself.”
Shad walks the walk while remaining unassuming, unpretentious and effortlessly motivated by the music, “I had to contribute, I had something unique and I think that really means a lot when you have something unique.”

14 YEARS FOR SEX WITH DONKEY
A father of two has been sentenced to 14 years in jail by a Narok court for having sex with a donkey.
The 30-year-old man Stephen Kipkemoi Rono pleaded guilty to having an unnatural act with the beast of burden when he appeared before Principal magistrate Alfred Kabiru.
He was charged that on July 22 at Tebeswet village of Narok South district, he had carnal knowledge of an animal, namely donkey, which is against the order of nature.
In mitigation, Mr Rono pleaded for leniency claiming that he had been deceived by the devil. He told the court that his wife had left him and married another man. He was therefore deprived of sex, leading him to the act.
"I am sorry. I plead for leniency because it's the devil who sent me. I have been living alone since my wife left me to marry another man," he told the court.
Mr Rono said he was remorseful of the act. The father of two now has 14 days to appeal against the sentence

BIG BROTHER AFRICA'S HANNINGTON WINS
After her one week rule as Head of House, Tatiana has been dethroned.
The crown now belongs to Ugandan Hannington, who jokingly admits to being the "screamer".
Head of House is responsible for direct contact with Biggie, handling shopping, reading out Tasks and overseeing the overall smooth running of the Big Brother House.
To the shock and surprise of his fellow Housemates, Hannington takes his victory lying on the couch. Uti has a good time making fun of him claiming he "screams like a girl". The shrieking girls lazed on the couch as the news was announced and did not seem phased by the outcome of the Task.

HANNINGTON PROPOSES TO SHEILA!
Hannington has given Sheila a promise ring and even though she did not want it, Hannington insisted.
Though Hannington recently told Uti that he was dropping the whole Sheila business, he had a private moment with her on the lawn where he had a chance to give her the ring. "I can't accept this"
Sheila told him that she could not accept the ring because he wanted him to have fun in the House.
Hannington asked her how she thought having her next to him would not be fun. However, Hannington decided that Sheila should do whatever she wanted with the ring, she could even throw it away for all he cared.
Sheila dropped the bomb to Hannington about how she was seeing someone outside the House and could not be with him.
A clearly devastated Hannington told her that she had killed everything even though the Kenyan model had said that she liked him a lot and wanted to keep him in the game, which is why she could not do anything with him.
So, give my ring back!
Hannington earlier confessed that when he loved somebody he put himself out there but Sheila said he thought Hannington was very attractive and sexy but just could not get it on with him.
Hannington asked her why she was so uncomfortable around him and the teary-eyed Sheila said without hesitation that “Because I like you.”
Hannington got a bit closer to Sheila and whispered in her ear that his feelings for her were not only about sex and wanted her to take her time.
He also told her that he had not had sex with anyone during Big Brother The Revolution. Hannington was trying to convince Sheila why he thought she had to keep his promise ring when she made her revelation and he changed his mind but she didn't want to give it back either.
An evidently uncomfortable Sheila kept trying to walk away but Hannington was not prepared to let her loose until she broke it down to him that though she thought he was physically fit and all but it could not happen, which drove Hannington to walk away with Sheila begging him to return, in vain.

GIG REVIEW: RISE UP CONCERT
Mambo Badd checked into Cross Roads Church at 2pm and we found the sound check just done.
Event started about 25 minutes later with emcee / actor from the local drama Wash and Set Oneal Nyanje better known on set as Dulla taking the mic as the events host. He introduced the youth pastor - Pastor Robert Lundi who led the church in a word of prayer followed by Stroc The Band taking the starting block.
The church was quite packed because by the time it hit 3pm, it was hard to spot an empty seat from a glance.
Several performances were set for the day including young dancers all the way from Kisauni Baptist known as Shinning Stars. Other performances included Mteule and Chief, NEMEL Dancers, Denno and Mazigizao & Pharaoh (who recently gave his life to Christ).
Peter Odanga, Director of Word of Life International;Ukunda, shared the word in a powerful way after he introduced a visiting team from the United States known as Dave Huizing And The Team who did an act that left the crowd speechless.
The 3 performances of the night must have come from first of all DABS Dancers who did something close to what you would see on America's Best Dance Crew. Dressed in yellow, they struck the floor with a breath-taking performance. Most probably it was anticipation to a celebration since one of the members - Lash was celebrating his birthday yesterday.
The 2nd best performance came from Chronicles The Band. Awesome performance with a rock twist to it. People were actually bobbing their heads and responding quite well to the songs. Plus it was easier with the lyrics of all the songs they sang being projected to the wall at the front: Perfect Sing Along Chorus!
The best performance of the night came from Groove Award Winner Juliani who had been rumoured to be in Kisumu but was this time accompanied by his band including Rhyme X Producer Gittz and recalled DJ - DJ Vic. Also accompanying him was his fiancée L.C., who did her lines in the song Hela which summed up the performances. Doing live performances of hit tracks like Ka Si Sisi, Damu Ya Yesu, Church On Monday, Biceps, Mtaa Mentality, Rauka, and Pagez Za Bible.
We managed to grab Juliani backstage and he told us that he is still campaigning with the K4C10 team plus also doing a peace campaign for Imani, Upendo and Tumaini. After that he gave us each a hand band.
We also spoke to L.C. (Linda Chemtut) who revealed to us that she has a fear for crowds. She also told us she is still working at Moi University in Eldoret and is doing much better after her accident.
On our way out we ran into Jean Marc, who informed us that there was no love loss after he was fired by Juliani but now they made up and its business as usual.
All In All, This Was A Perfect Way To Spend A Sunday Afternoon. The church was celebrating 8 years since it began!

GIG REVIEW: MOMBASA POLYTECHNIC NITE
Since the inception of Mambo Badd on the 1st of July, we have been receiving immense hits regarding us to attend events. Well we decided that every weekend will be dedicated to a gig so we hit it off at the Porsche Wild Waters located in Nyali.
2 events were going down on Saturday.
In the afternoon it was a Family Fun Day for the Nation Media Group who showed up in very few numbers. Most probably because they were covering events outside though we din't see any children. By 6pm, very few people were left enjoying their last minute drinks before they went home.
At about 8pm, the 2nd event kicked in. - THE MOMBASA POLY NITE.
Buses had started streaming in with the campus students grabbing drinks immediately. On the decks was resident DJ - DJ Issa as he awaited guest DJ - DJ Lenium to take over. At about 9.30pm, DJ Lenium took over and the rest is history.
With the gig going LIVE on Facebook via the Facebook Social Plugin, DJ Lenium was able to play requests without the students even having to get close the DJ booth but trusting Poly students, they had to come see the DJ in person.
The total tally of students at the Wild Waters, was close to 4,000 students with security scampered everywhere in the vicinity. The crowd responded quite well to the hype man as he played music from old school to r n' b mixing in techno and commercial music and summing up with a local touch especially the traditional music.
At about 1am, DJ Lenium moved with a crowd of close to 2,000 people to the rain dance floor where as the students got literally rained on, he played a selection of ragga, dancefloor and reggae.
All in all, the event was a total success since for the first time ever, the students behaved and there were no incidents reported. The event ended at about 5am where the matatu's made a killing carrying passengers to Bamburi, Mtwapa and town.
According to events and marketing manager Paul Mutua, the event was successful. "We had no breakages, our security did not have a problem with crowd control and the students enjoyed themselves fully. The rain dance floor is usually open for an hour but for the first time in Wild Waters history we went for a record 2 hours. So kudos to the team."
All In All, It was a gig worth attending. In attendance were several celebrities including:

MWESHIMIWA TO BE CANNED WHILE CHANGING TIMES GETS A LIFE LINE
KTN's programming content is taking a turn for the weird. Last week we reported that Changing Times would not receive viewer audience for season 2 on KTN. Well things changed on Friday when the directors signed another broadcast agreement for Season 2.
The urban related show which stars female rapper and radio presenter Joey had been on the fence for a while but after Friday it looks like all horses are up and running for a 2nd season. The program was running an audition yesterday and has seen incredible talent up to be seen in Shelton University.
On the hand local programme Mweshimiwa which is rarely talked about might be scratched for another season on KTN.
According to our sources, the program has very low TV ratings and the station don't see a comeback for another season.

1ST EVICTION ON BIG BROTHER AFRICA ALL STARS EDITION
Did You Miss Out On Last Night's 1st Big Brother Africa 5 Eviction? Well Lets Recount It For You Bit By Bit.
Big Brother Host IK had the Housemates sitting on the edge of their seats as he read through the names of half the Housemates. Hannington, Meryl, Mwisho, Yacob, Lerato, Code, Sammi, Jen and Paloma were announced as safe.
With beating music in the background and suspense building, Kaone was announced as the first Housemate to be Evicted from the Big Brother House. His final words were "good game guys" as he walked out of the All Star doors.
IK popped back on to the screen announcing that Munya and Uti were safe. Tatiana almost expected that she'd leave because she boldly said "I will be going".
Little did she know that she was the next to leave the Big Brother House. She hung around a little longer than expected, after Big Brother gave the Head of House 60 seconds to leave. Paloma was in tears seeing her fellow All Star leaving.
The Evicted Housemates get to take revenge on a Housemate still in the House, and stab somebody in the back by throwing forfeits.
The Molotov cocktail which saw many Housemates a little humiliated and hard at work in the Big Brother Revolution is back this season, but has been re-instated as the Dagger!
These Daggers differ from, but are just as scandalous as the Molotov Cocktails. The first dagger this season, makes the chosen recipient dress up like a pig, clean the kitchen, bathroom and toilet three times a day with ear-buds and a toothbrush.
Tatiana chose to throw this dagger at South African Housemate Lerato and explained that it "will be funny to see!" Lerato will have to keep this up for a week.
The second dagger was thrown by Kaone. This forfeit forces a Housemate to dress up in a French Maids costume, remain awake after all the other Housemates are sleeping and make sure that the House is spotless before going to bed. Kaone chose Uti as the unlucky recipient.
The Housemates that have received a Dagger in the Back from the two Evictees will have to perform these duties for an entire week.
Despite being un-Evicted, the Daggers still stand and although Kaone and Tatiana are still in the House, Uti and Lerato are not off the hook!

Kaone was the first to be Evicted from the Big Brother All Stars House. He seemed a little disappointed and explained to IK on stage that he couldn't understand why Africa voted him off.
Tatiana seemed a little self assured with the Eviction. She walked on stage explaining that she really wants to go back because all the All Stars really bonded over the food Strike on Day 6.
When IK broke the news to Tatiana and Kaone, Kaone's reaction was full of genuine suprise, he said that he was "broken apart, sooo excited, gonna give it to you again".
Tatiana said "I am the sheriff, I have to get back to that house and come back with $200 000".
When they were allowed back into the House, they were smiling and laughing and jumping in each others arms. Most of the Housemates were happy to see them return.

"It will be Funny to See"

These Daggers differ from, but are just as scandalous as the Molotov Cocktails. The first dagger this season, makes the chosen recipient dress up like a pig, clean the kitchen, bathroom and toilet three times a day with ear-buds and a toothbrush.
Tatiana chose to throw this dagger at South African Housemate Lerato and explained that it "will be funny to see!" Lerato will have to keep this up for a week.
Stabbed in the Back
The second dagger was thrown by Kaone.

BIG BROTHER AFRICA ALL STARS DOOR BROKEN OPEN!
In a dramatic turn of events, the Housemates decided to break down the door separating them from the outside world.
After camping in the Diary Room for about 3 hours, protesting the lack of food in the house, the Housemates decided to take matters into their own hands in the literal sense of the word.
The Housemates busted out of the Diary Room and all wore the red overalls that they were given for yesterdays Games Task.
They all then followed each other outside and the boys proceeded to push the door leading to the outside of the House. As soon as the door opened, the collective broke into a "we want food" chant!
Just then, Big Brother's booming voice came over the speakers calling Tatiana, who is the Head Of House back into the Diary Room.
The Housemates, not willing to negotiate, decided they would all go to the Diary Room together because they had made the decision as a team.

SANAIPEI AND MANGA CALL IT QUITS!
Last week she changed her Facebook status from a relationship to single and got a mad reaction with her facebook friends asking if it is true.
"Its For Sure. Okay guys really! You know who to talk to to confirm!" she told Mambo Badd.
Our efforts to get in touch with Manga were futile though sources close to him revealed that he was the one dumped due to reasons that had grown in the past year.
The celebrity couple had been dating for the past three and a half months before their break up.
