THE ALVARO NZUMARI AWARDS!!

Showbiz entertainment CEO Eve 'Queen' Adhiambo has signed a deal with East Africa Breweries Soft Drink product company Alvaro  in being title sponsors of this years Nzumari Awards.

A move that puts her ahead of several award companies in Kenya, is putting her on the hot spot to achieve the un achievable; to have an award ceremony without any controversies.

According to Eve Queen, she believes that the awards are now a notch higher." I told several people that they should just wait and not be in a hurry to talk! Even the Bible says be fast to listen but slow to talk."


"Am through with my Official Sponsors Alvaro, we have agreed on the new date for the 2010 Nzumari Awards. Some of the nominees from Tanzania include people like Diamond, Belle 9, Alikiba, Chegge TMK, Marlow, Hussein Machozi, Baby Madaha, Lina, K-sher, Kaunda Zoro and from Nairobi include Nonini, Juacali, Prezzo, Jaguar, Colonel Moustapha, Amani, Avril, Marya, Reina just to mention a few," she told our reporter. "The  guest of honours slotted for the gala night include people like The MP for Voi Hon Danson Mwanzo, MP for Kisauni  Hon Ali Joho, Mayor Of Mombasa His Worship Ahmed Mondhar."


Several critics had cited that the awards were cancelled due to lack of funding but we guess Eve proved them wrong. We are yet to find out the full list of nominees and who is on the nomination committee.
