NZUMARI AWARDS POSTPONED INDEFINATELY!

The much highly anticipated 3rd Annual Nzumari Awards that was set to go down on the 7th of August have been indefinately postponed till further notice.

Our desk tried getting in touch with the CEO of Eve Queen Entertainment - Eve Adhiambo but to no avail as she was away in Nairobi on business. Her facebook status though read - "Nzumari Awards which was slated for Aug 7th, is postned coz ramadhan is starting at arnd that time, a new date will b annouced later!"

Word on the street however has it that that the CEO is currently running low on finances and a few sponsors who had promised to back her up have pulled out including the venue sponsor, namely Big Tree Restaurant. Its been tipped that HomeBoyz are set to do an event at Big Tree Restaurant on the same material day Eve had planned for the awards.

Also another tip has it that the emcee's who were finally revealed to the Mambo Badd team as being Straight Up's Tero Mdee and Former Baraka FM Radio DJ and Presenter DJ Lenium had not come to an understanding on the terms of payment following last year's controversial mix up involving artist's tokkens and payments for performances.


The last tip has it that the team she worked with last year: DJ Squishy, DJ Fridah and Beryl Kawere have all quit the board and are waiting for a brand new contract from the CEO.
